A food reviewer from a local Facebook group said that Agave Grill is a sit-down and order place, nice decor, a quiet gem. Great food. The reviewer and her friend both had tacos. One had steak with corn tortillas and the other had carnitas with flour tortillas. The light lunch was packed with flavor. You can order two tacos for lunch (water to drink) for $6.50.
Fighting Burrito
It’s a no brainer to visit The Fighting Burrito during downtown lunch or an evening after work. If you don’t your stomach will be fighting you all day – well, if you do or don’t eat a Fighting Burrito your stomach will be fighting you regardless. Thai Flavors
Thai Flavors delivers to the Beaverdale neighborhood and other areas of the metro.You can’t go wrong with some of their lunch specials. You can count on their sushi and lettuce wraps to be solid choices. It’s usually takes 30 minutes to an hour for delivery.

Of course, Pizza for the win. So what that this is a national chain delivery option. There are those days when a thin crust pepperoni pizza from Domino’s fits the bill.

Planet Sub
Ah, this place makes one of the best turkey sandwiches. Another thing they do well is that they deliver food to you! Online ordering is limited to locations that fall between E 14th Street, 63rd Street, Euclid Ave, and MLK. Be sure to note, though, their delivery minimum is $15.00. They’ll also apply a delivery charge: $1.50.

Their website states, “Felix & Oscar’s has delivered meals longer than any restaurant in Des Moines. While most places offer a limited selection of fast food we are unique. We are a full-service restaurant with a large and varied menu available for delivery. Orlondo’s On Park Pizza & Pasta
A staple along the bike path as a great meet-up spot also a spot to end a ride with pizza and beers. If you can’t make it to the bike path, or even to the restaurant itself, they will deliver food to you!

The only part of the service that seems a little troublesome is that, with The Meal Man, your order is not placed with the restaurant until they have an available driver to dispatch which could result in longer wait times if a driver isn’t available right away.
