Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in Des Moines has joined forces with Iowa Culinary Institute for an evening of perfectly paired food and wine. The two will be hosting “Joie de Vivre”, a wine dinner featuring French inspired cuisine with a Fleming’s touch to kick off the Institute’s annual dinner series on Thursday August 29, 2013 at 6:30 p.m.
All proceeds go to benefit the Des Moines Area Community College’s International Culinary Institute.

Guests can enjoy unique dishes including Fromage au Fort, Pork Rillettes, Onion & Bacon Tarts, & Escargot, followed by French Onion Soup, Brined Duck Breast, Spring mix & mustard greens with truffle-honey, Proscuitto-Wrapped Scallop Brochettes, Prime Beef Short Ribs Bourgeon, Rosemary spaghetti squash and horseradish croquette each course perfectly paired with a variety of French wines.
