Wow, you guys, I have never had a steak seasoning like Doug’s Last Wish Ultimate Steak Seasoning. The minute I opened the package I could smell an outstanding flavor. I might have been able to eat the package and not had a problem with it.
Last night, my brother and I grilled a couple of thin New York strips and used Doug’s Last Wish to season them up. We used one whole packet and rubbed both sides of the meat. It looked like it was going to be overwhelming but it turned out amazing. The way I would describe the seasoning is a creamy ranch and butter, with a little hint of garlic. (My mouth is watering thinking about it again…) The best part about this seasoning is that it’s USDA Certified Organic. You know you’re getting the best of the best there. You can find the seasoning at Gateway Market in Des Moines or order it online.
We also had some homemade sweet potato fries. I doctored those up with olive oil and brown sugar and grilled them.
The sweet potato fries were a great pairing with the flavor of the steak and seasoning.
I highly recommend this seasoning. Pick it up for your end of summer BBQ. Oh, and for you’re tailgate grilling if you want to be a winner. Check out Doug on twitter here.
