Noodles and Co. is a restaurant chain that is somewhat still new to Duff Ave in Ames, Iowa. Noodles & Co. originally started out in Denver, Colorado in 1995.
Sarah from Lemke Anderson, Noodles PR reps, were super cool to send me two free meal passes (and some other Noodle gear) to enjoy a night out and order some Noodles and Co. I asked Dena to join me tonight.
Noodles is all about fresh ingredients and having your meal cooked to order. Not only are they focused on giving you a fresh meal, they want your experience to be relaxing and simple- Walk in, order, sit, eat and enjoy good food and company. I experienced all of that tonight.
What did we eat?
Whenever I eat at Noodles & Co. I usually go with the Pene Rosa. That is my most favorite, but tonight I thought I would change it up.
I ordered a Wisconsin Cheesesteak. What’s on that? –> Marinated steak, our Mac & Cheese sauce, cheddar-jack cheese, red onion, red bell pepper and mushrooms on ciabatta. I totally digged this sandwich. Steak with Mac & Cheese sauce all over it? Yes please. I ordered it without red onions though.
Dena ordered the Indonesian Peanut Saute. What’s that? –> Spicy peanut sauce and rice noodle stir-fry, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, Asian sprouts, cilantro, crushed peanuts and lime. It looked really good. She described it as sweet, spicy and delicious.
