Earlier this month I had posted a survey that asked a question if you would rather have your morning coffee, or wind down watching the sunset sipping on your favorite cocktail.

Des Moines Loves Coffee

It appears that 36% of people responded with cocktail, and then 64% responded with morning coffee. Of course, this makes sense.  For most of us folks in Des Moines, we couldn’t even make it to happy hour if we didn’t have our morning coffee. It was definitely a tough question. A lot of people wanted to pick BOTH, but you had to pick one. With that, let me highlight some of my favorite coffee shops around Des Moines, and central Iowa.
