It was another rainy, cold April day and making mimosas and french toast seemed like a good way to spruce up the dreary day.
Ingredients:
1 tbsp of cinnamon ($0.33)
1 tbsp of honey ($0.14)
1 Teaspoon of vinilla extract. ($0.17)
3 eggs ($0.309)
1 loaf of day old Jimmy John’s bread ($0.50)

Just $1.449 for all of the ingredients. We got 18 slices from the loaf – That’s only $0.08 per piece.

Heat a pan on medium-low. Mix the cinnamon, honey, vanilla extract, and eggs together. Dip both sides of the the sliced bread in the egg. Place on the pan, and flip every minute until you get light brown spots on the toast, and the egg is cooked.
Serve with a banana, and peanut butter instead of syrup – YUM.
