When you’re in need of a satisfying breakfast, look no further than your local Hy-Vee.
I went to Hy-Vee following my morning run, and got a pretty satisfying breakfast for about $5.50. 2 eggs, over-easy, 2 pieces of toast, and hash-browns. A very simple breakfast until I ordered a side of gravy. Breakfast is all about creativity. Another nice thing about Hy-Vee is that they have Starbucks right next to their dining area. So, after ordering, I got in line at SB and ordered my Americano.
After a very quick wait, we were served our breakfast. I created my breakfast by placed the eggs on my toast, then placed the hash-browns on top of my eggs, only to be covered by the gravy. Talk about heaven! It was a great combination. The gravy that Hy-Vee serves has great flavor. It’s has a lot of black pepper in it, which is a necessity for gravy. Eggs were cooked just right, and the hash-brows were cooked perfectly. They weren’t soft or over-cooked. Overall, great experience, and was what I needed after a run. It’s also kid friendly. So after a baseball game, or morning workout, Hy-Vee is a good choice.
With Hy-Vee’s everywhere around Iowa, and a couple other Midwestern states, you can always turn to them for quality meals.
